Good Boot for the Price!, May 21, 2008 By Cable Guy (Maryland) - See all my reviews This is the second time I have purchased this boot, and I would have to say "Its a great deal, and a good work boot". Even though these boots "Can" last up to a couple of years on the outside, I purchase a new pair "Every year" just because the inside comfort doesnt last that long. I use these boots for climbing poles and standing on ladders 30ft in the air. Only found two downfalls about these, 1. Moisture does seem to get to my socks and feet after a couple of months of wear. 2. You can feel the steel shank on the bottom of your foot when wearing the boots, wich make them a little uncomfortable. I will continue to buy unless I find a more comfortable boot for the same price.

Great boots for the money, August 12, 2009 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Men's Carolina 8" Steel Toe Loggers Boot (Apparel) I've been a longterm Redwing Boot wearer. I decided to give these boots a try, because there price was about half what you would pay for a pair of Redwings. After wearing the boots for several months I am very impressed. They are just as comfortable as my Redwings were. I've noticed that the leather on the boots isn't quite as tough as what was on the Redwings though, and tends to take deap scratches easier. Only time will tell for sure though.

dont bother, save ur money, February 25, 2009 By tackett2005 "tackett2005" (long island, ny) - See all my reviews pros- the fit is really good (at first) considering the steel toe
- the look of a really well built logger boot
- good options waterproof, steel toe, steel shank, electrical hazard
cons- comfort? whats that? there is no cushion at all. after wearing
them to work, i broke them in for short periods at home, i was
practically disabled, my feet were in the worst pain ever. did i
say no cushion, none. ur better off walking on steel wrapped
cinder blocks.
Bottom line - normally i wear Timberland PRO series soft toe boots(they are like walking on air, i can wear them for days at a time and never feel uncomfortable) thing is they dont make a steel toe boot that fits right - tried every size and width to no avail - so i tried on these. At first fit, they fit great for a steel toe boot, no pinch plenty of room. But thats about it. NO CUSHIONING, NO COMFORT FOR ANY THING LONGER THAN AN HOUR OR TWO. Looks like I'll be back to the...
